    In my opinion the "Buy Nothing Day" is an increidibly staff, because, as it is said, it does not cause any impact on the enviroment. This day is healping, on a way, to the enviroment by the reclicling or the aspect of not consuming the products we do not need.when we buy a product, do we ask ourselves which imoact has got to the enviroment? I do not think so, do you think the "Buy Nothing Day" is going to help us? Maybe it could convinced us to ask ourselves.True or not, this advertisement will help us to reflect about participating or not participating.

    In my point of view the "Buy Nothing Day" is a way of challenging ourselves and it could be considered as an escape from the temptation of buying useless things and to detox from shopping during a whole day. The aim of this day is no other but to make people realise about how serious is not to spend money unnecessarily and make them conscious about the importance of consuming less and, consequently, recycling more. All the countries that participate in the "Buy Nothing Day" are contributing to be aware about how we are damaging the environment by the over-consumption. Of course, the "Buy Nothing Day" is not just about changing your habits for one day, it’s about starting a new and better lifestyle. It is not that easy to switch off from shopping, however, when we want to buy something, we need to ask ourselves this simple question… "Do I really need it?"Andrea Escobar

    I totally agree with Andrea, this is a great opportunity to change our habits for one day. Before purchasing something we do not really need, which is kind of useless, we should think what the impact on the environment might be. This is an environmental campaign which seeks to consume less and as to result to produces less waste which could end in the enlargement of the global warming for example. All countries should join this initiative, and reduce the over-consumption. All of us should think what the consequences might be. The earth can live without us but we cannot live without the earth.

    I think "Buy Nothing Day "should be celebrated all over the world and not only in a few countries because as you have said "Buy Nothing Day" is an open door to a new way of living, an open door to a new world where neither over-consumption nor people buying unnecessary things exist. "Do I need this?" that is a really good question. Do you really need something to make your dinning room nicer? For once, in this day, you have the oportunity to think about the planet instead of thinking in yourself. If everybody tried not to expend money in "Buy Nothing Day" maybe not the following year, but in a few, people would learn the meaning of this day.
